Sant Chavara National Academy

Sant Chavara National Academy is committed to nurturing every aspect of a student’s personality by focusing equally on scholastic and co-scholastic areas. While academic excellence is a priority, the school places strong emphasis on activities that develop thinking skills, social and emotional intelligence, life skills, positive attitudes, and strong moral values.

Co-scholastic areas form an integral part of the school curriculum, helping students grow into confident, responsible, and well-rounded individuals. These activities encourage teamwork, leadership, creativity, discipline, and a spirit of healthy competition. Students are motivated to take initiative and participate actively in these programmes, while parents are encouraged to support their wards in exploring and honing their talents.

The co-scholastic areas included in the curriculum are:

  1. Work Education and Community Service – Activities that promote self-reliance, social responsibility, and contribution to the community.
  2. Art Education – Both Visual Arts (painting, drawing, crafts) and Performing Arts (music, dance, drama) to encourage creativity and artistic expression.
  3. Physical and Health Education – Fitness programmes, yoga, and awareness sessions on health and hygiene.
  4. Value Education – Life Skill/Moral Science classes to instil ethics, integrity, and compassion.
  5. Sports and Games – Regular sports events including the Annual Sports Meet. The school has dedicated teams for Basketball, Football, and Table Tennis.
  6. Literary and Cultural Activities – Celebrations such as Grandparents’ Day, the Annual Cultural Fest, and participation in debate, quiz, dance, singing, Eco Clubs, Science Clubs, Art Integration Clubs and Social Action Clubs.
  7. School Band – Proudly recognised as one of the first and finest school bands in Parasia city, showcasing discipline and musical excellence.
  8. Scout & Guide – Known for its commitment, discipline, and service, contributing to community and national events.
