Krishna Janmashtami Celebrated at Sant Chavara National Academy
Sant Chavara National Academy celebrated Krishna Janmashtami on August 14th, with students from Nursery to Class V participating in the festivities.
The program began with a prayer song, followed by a welcome address by Abraham Qureshi. Students from Class I and II showcased their talents through a Rasleela performance, dancing as mischievous Krishna in Vrindavan.
Class V student Oniir Chandpuria recited a poem on "Makhanchor Nandkishore". The highlight of the event was the adorable presentation by Nursery and KG students dressed as Radha and Krishna, which filled the atmosphere with devotion.
The program concluded with students breaking a matka (pot) as part of the festivities. Principal Fr. Jaison, in his address, highlighted the significance of Lord Krishna's life and teachings, inspiring students to follow his path and make their lives successful. He congratulated all participants and wished everyone a happy Krishna Janmashtami.
