Awareness Campaign on HPV Vaccine

SCNA conducted an Awareness Campaign on the HPV Vaccine with the support of the medical department from Civil Hospital, Chandametta. The session educated students about the importance of the HPV vaccine, which is a safe and effective vaccine that helps protect against infections causing cervical, genital, anal, and throat cancers, as well as genital warts.

Students were informed that the vaccine is recommended for children aged 11–12, can be administered from age 9 up to 45, and is most effective when given before exposure to infection. The session also addressed common misconceptions and encouraged informed health decisions.
