Independence Day Celebrated with Patriotic Zeal at Sant Chavara National Academy, Chandametta
Sant Chavara National Academy celebrated India's 79th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor on Friday. The ceremony began with Chief Guest Dr. Prajakta hoisting the national flag, followed by the singing of the national anthem by students and faculty. In her address, the Chief Guest reminded the audience of the sacrifices made by freedom fighters and urged students to uphold the values of unity, integrity, and discipline. Students presented a vibrant cultural program, featuring patriotic songs and speeches in Hindi, Sanskrit, and English that highlighted India's journey since independence. Institution Manager Fr. Stenin reflected on the significance of freedom and the importance of remembering the sacrifices of great leaders that have enabled us to enjoy our independence. The ceremony inspired a new sense of pride and responsibility towards the nation among all attendees. Top performers in the AISSCE and AISSE exams were awarded the Bishop Clemens Award. Pragati Dongre (AISSCE) and Shaurya Soni (AISSE) received cash prizes, certificates, and trophies for their outstanding results in the CBSE board exams. Students also presented a street play highlighting ways to show love and care for their country. Principal Fr. Jaison extended his good wishes to all. The program concluded with the national anthem.
